Meet Daniel

Daniel Klein is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™, with over 29 years of experience in investment management and financial planning. Daniel has been providing independent, holistic, and comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services since graduating in 1993 from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management degree, with an emphasis in Accounting. In addition to holding the CFP® designation, Daniel is Series 7 and Series 63 securities licensed and has insurance licenses in life and health.

Daniel finds his daily work to be tremendously rewarding and really appreciates the client-first culture that has been long established at RFG Advisory. Daniel’s primary focus has always been on employing a collaborative approach with clients to assist, guide and empower them in creating and uncovering strategies for solutions to life’s many financial complexities. Daniel provides his clients with easy-to-understand strategies to help them pursue their long-term financial planning goals and delivers the confidence to allow his clients to create and adhere to their financial roadmap.

Daniel has been happily married to his wife Melissa for over 22 years. They have two children together, Lily and Adam. Lily is 18 and just finishing her freshman year at Tulane University. She is pre-med and majoring in Neuroscience, hoping to follow her dreams of becoming a surgeon. Adam is 15 and is finishing up his freshman year of high school here in St. Louis. He had a great experience playing high school basketball and baseball and is looking forward to getting back to his home away from home next month, Camp Timberlane in Wisconsin. Daniel enjoys exercising, listening to live music, playing softball, basketball, and tennis, traveling with his family, and supporting the local sports teams here in St. Louis.

When it comes to accumulating, growing and preserving wealth, nothing is more important than having a plan. It’s essential to have clear direction for how you are going to hit your milestones and achieve your goals. Sure, things in life will change, and you can adjust for them. But having a carefully crafted plan is missioncritical and gives you the confidence to move forward.
We share your mission to help your retirement plan participants achieve their financial life goals. We can assist 401(k)s, 403(b)s, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans and their participants in making thoughtful decisions about their investment manager selection and plan design.
One of Daniel’s greatest strengths is his ability to listen. He listens intently to his clients so he can understand their hopes, fears and goals. Then his team carefully creates and meticulously manages an investment portfolio aligned with his client’s immediate needs and long-term objectives.
Wealth management doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s not just about the financial advisor. It takes a carefully coordinated group of professionals working together. Daniel and his team make sure everyone on your team has the information they need to execute your plan and contribute to your success.
It’s your financial life in one easy-to-access place. It’s where you get statements and reports. It’s where you can electronically store essential documents. It’s where you can go, anytime and from just about anywhere, to get the information you need to monitor your progress and see your goals come to life.
Daniel knows how important it is for his clients to understand how planning, saving and investing works. Because only then can they make informed decisions about their future. Beyond his clients, he’s passionate about teaching young people about financial planning so they can start early — which can make all the difference in the world.
Recognizing that men and women think and talk about money differently, RFC created an educational website designed for women to learn how to live financially fearless.
